How to Measure Your Baby’s Feet
Trace Method
Stand your baby on a sheet of paper, or press their foot flat against it. Mark the back of the heel and the tip of the longest toe, then measure the distance between the two marks.
Measure Both Feet
Babies often have one foot slightly larger than the other. Measure both and use the larger measurement to choose a size.
Check Regularly
Baby feet grow quickly, often a full size every two to three months. It is worth re-measuring before buying new shoes.
Please note: These measurements and size conversions are intended as a general guide only. Foot shape and shoe fit vary between brands, so we always recommend checking the specific measurements listed on each product page. If your baby’s foot falls between two sizes, choose the larger size to allow room to grow. For first walking shoes, trying them on before wearing them outdoors gives the most reliable fit.
